What is Fashion Week?

Fashion Week is a week dedicated to fashion, during which designers and fashion houses present their new ready-to-wear and haute couture collections through runway shows. It’s important to note that Fashion Week happens twice a year: winter collections are presented in February-March, and summer collections in September-October.

Four main cities host Fashion Week for four consecutive weeks, always in the same order: New York kicks off the event. Next comes London Fashion Week, then Milan, and finally, Paris Fashion Week.

The runway shows are divided into ready-to-wear and haute couture categories. Note that Paris is the only city that features haute couture shows.
