Fête des Vendanges

Fête des Vendanges

Since 1934, the Clos Montmartre wine festival has been celebrated in October for five joyous days of popular festivity, with taste and gastronomy in the spotlight! The third-busiest Parisian event after Nuit Blanche and Paris Plages, 500,000 visitors are expected to take to the streets of the Butte once again this year. Exhibitions, live shows, music, parades, dances, tastings of local and artisanal products and a variety of other activities are all on offer to delight young and old, tourists and Parisians alike.
This flagship autumn event gives us the opportunity to celebrate our winegrowing tradition and welcome the arrival of the new vintage from our vineyards. But it's not just the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre that offers a rich new program of diverse and varied events, with this year's theme being “the imaginary”. Aspiring to a better world, transforming, giving oneself the strength to invent, accessing the marvellous, the fantastic, creating images, sounds and ideas, and thus giving space to inventive, dreamlike, funny artistic forms where street shows, films, street art, unusual concerts, poetry or song mingle...

This flagship autumn event gives us the opportunity to celebrate its winegrowing tradition and welcome the arrival of the new vintage from its vineyards. But the fête des vendanges de Montmartre is more than just a celebration of the grape harvest: this year's theme is “the imaginary”. Aspiring to a better world, transforming, giving oneself the strength to invent, accessing the marvellous, the fantastic, creating images, sounds and ideas, and thus giving space to inventive, dreamlike and funny artistic forms, combining street shows, films, street art, unusual concerts, poetry or song...

As every year, the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre will delight Parisians with an eclectic and festive program: the taste trail, the children's choir, vineyard tours, the grand parade, Decibels Vendanges concerts and the closing ball.
