Reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris
On Monday April 15, 2019, the cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris was ravaged by fire.
After several years of painstaking work, Paris is delighted to finally announce to the world the reopening of its historic monument.
The renovation process was long and fraught with obstacles. Each stage represented a major challenge, but thanks to the perseverance and hard work of our teams, this ambitious project has come to fruition.

The reopening of Notre-Dame runs from December 7, 2024 to June 8, 2025, the feast of Pentecost.
Opening hours
- Open weekdays from 7.45am to 7pm, Thursdays until 10pm; Saturdays and Sundays from 8.15am to 7.30pm. Last admission 30 minutes before closing time.
- Masses weekdays at 8am, 12pm and 6pm; Saturdays at 8:30am, 12pm and 6pm (early Sunday mass); Sundays and feast days at 8:30am, 10am (in Latin), 11:30am and 6pm.
- Office of Vespers: 5:30pm Monday to Friday; 5:15pm Saturday, Sunday and feast days.
- Office of Lauds: 9:30 am Sundays and feasts
- Rosary: 3pm Monday to Saturday
We have set up a special access reservation to reduce waiting times at the entrance to the cathedral. Individual visitors can reserve a time slot the day before, the day before or the day of their visit.
An unreserved queue is always present on the forecourt. Access to the cathedral is entirely free of charge.
The Christmas masses are fast approaching
December 24: 11pm (Christmas Eve, followed by midnight mass)
December 25: 07:00 am
December 25: 11:00 am (Solemn Christmas Mass)
December 25: 4pm (Solemn Christmas Vespers and Salute to the Blessed Sacrament)

Some Tips
There are several ways to get there: take metro line 4 to Cité or St-Michel station, or RER B to St-Michel Notre Dame station.
From the hotel, take metro line 2 at Blanche to Barbès-Rochechouart in the direction of Nation.
Get off at Barbès-Rochechouart and follow the connection to line 4.
Take line 4 towards Bagneux, and get off at Cité or St-Michel.
